version "b";, The set starts off pretty scruffy (halfway into the 1st song) but picks up nicely after that. The rest of the songs are just fine although this set admittingly sounds quite metallic, Lineage: DVD+R > copied SHN files to HDD > (checked MD5Sum=OK) > decoded to WAV > CoolEdit Pro2000 (checked; see below for fixed tracks) > FLAC frontend (encoded to FLAC; aligned on sector boundaries) > DIME, Fixed tracks:, 06 Rainy day women # 12 & 35: (dropout at appox. 2:10 removed), 09 Gates of Eden: (dropout between 3:45-3:47 removed), 10 Gotta serve somebody (several dropouts at the beginning removed and spliced; hardly audible)., Next step: Left channel boosted 3dB on some tracks, Likewise, right channel boosted 3dB on others, All in all set is now quite balanced
(a bittorrent from 08/09 is a close eac match on d1t1, d1t6, and d1t8 with same digital flaws; described as "Lineage: CD-r received in trade->flac with EAC (secure mode) ->TLH->you" with filenames like "disc one\Track01.flac"; xref-00015 )
