edirol remastered;, (remastered), I've decided to remaster some of my master recordings. Having the benefit of better software and more experience as an engineer than a couple of years ago, there's quite a bit of recordings that could be improved upon. If there's a lot of interest there will be many more to follow. This is my recording of Bob Dylan's show in Amsterdam in 2007, the 2nd of 2 nights at the Heineken Music Hall., ORIGINAL NOTES, It's a pretty clear recording, although it's not as good as some of my other recordings because of less than brilliant sound at the venue. There's also a huge difference in sound level between the acoustic and electric songs, I decided not to change that because it sounded this way at the concert. The recording is complete and artwork is included in the torrent. Enjoy!, REMASTERING NOTES:, First of all Har-Bal 2.3 was used for re-EQing with the official "Spirit On The Water" as a reference. The results are quite stunning, the original master now sounds like this remaster played back at a bad clock radio. Listen to the before/after sample below and check it out yourself. Apart from that a lot of volume adjustments were made. Back in 2007 I decided not to change the huge differences in sound level, something which I now regret as a lot of the songs sounded way too quiet on the original, sometimes the difference was as huge as 12 dB. This has been corrected for this remaster. New artwork can be found in the torrent, and the tracktimes have been changed a bit so it's easy to spot this new remaster. Enjoy!, For those wondering, Bob plays guitar on the first 4 songs and electric piano on the rest of the show., Date: April 9 2007, Venue: Heineken music hall, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Source: Audience, Sound quality (1-10): 9, Original lineage: Edirol R-09 (internal mics) -> WAV (16 bit/44.1 kHz) -> Adobe audition 1.5 (fades, EQing, some slight reverb) -> CDWAV (trackmarks) -> FLAC frontend ->FLACs, Remastering lineage: Original master->Har-Bal 2.3 (re-EQing, with official "Spirit On The Water" as a reference)-> Adobe Auditon 1.5 (adjusting volumes, limiting, compression, slight EQ changes, fades)->CDWAV (trackmarks)->Master
