zoomh4, I think this was the first show of his European tour this fall. The show started off kind of unexpected, so I missed some seconds of the intro. Nothing central missing, though., Recorded smack in the middle, maybe 15 ft from the mixing desk. Awful sound during the first song, but fortunately it got better quite soon. Bob was in good shape (at least in the "Bob Dylan sense"), and his vocals were right on top of everything, clear and up front in the mix. After 8 songs, Dylan uttered the only words he spoke during the whole show, announcing an unexpected break. Didn't say how long, or when they'd be back, leaving the audience a bit baffled. If you're planning to burn this onto CD's, the split would be natural between tracks 8-9., The setlist, as you can see, is primarly made up of newer material, which suited me fine. I'm not Dylan-crazy, and I think the material he's made recently (well... the last 15 years or so), while his voice was in the shape it is now, fits him best. I don't HAVE to hear Blowin' In The Wind or Like A Rolling Stone to be satisfied, although I heard several older audience members complain after the show was done. I'd say that was unfair, because this was a GOOD concert, and it also got good reviews in the newspapers., Recorded with a Zoom H4 stereo recorder in lossles PCM wave (16 bit 44.100 Hz)., Volume boost + EQ done with Cubase SX3., Flac (level 8) converson + torrent stuff done with TLH., A few pics are included, taken with a new camera I was trying out (won't keep it).
