v4tx, Back To Mono, Taper: V4TX, Sony D100>DPA4061>Left Channel split>Sony CDRW66>CDR>EAC>Trader's Little Helper FLAC level 8, Not sure what this will add to the already posted excellent WHOTAPES version, but hey, Lossless Bob needs something to do. I do think this has a bit more bottom. It also has a few more people yelling at Bob, and singing along in Blowin' In The wind. I was in the front row of the 2nd section near the left wall, and security let people from the cheap seats come down and party up front. Hey the guy loved Bob so he can't be a bad guy, I just wish he was on the other side of the hall. One thing this recording lacks is a right channel. Before the show I noticed my attenuator was adding some noise to recordings so I removed it. When I plugged my mics in I did not plug them in all the way, HOW MANY YEARS HAVE I BEEN DOING THIS?, and only got one usable channel. So I did a direct analog split into the CD recorder. So yes in the old world of a SPARS code this one is a DAD recording. I know there were other ways to do this, but I took the fastest route for me. Sorry. This doesn't completely stink. There is some rustling and distortion at the beginning as I get my act together recording without an attenuator for the first time in I don't know how long. Tracks done on the fly. Enjoy.
