audiowhore mix and fix, ========, 2020 audiowhore mix and fix of LB-14990 (BW/Dolphinsmile source), Dolphinsmile's original info notes are below, ========, BW cassette Masters put on Dat for me, Nak300 and Sony recorder>Dat to me back in the day>File cloned, in Microtrack using a Tascam Dat deck>Goldwave tracking and, eliminating flips>TLH8, taped by BW, Produced by Dolphinsmile, for the Dolphinsmile Archive, ============, audiowhore modifications to LB-14990 (BW/Dolphinsmile source) are noted below-, 1. pitch and speed correction, I found that the pitch was a little too high and that the speed a little too fast by the equivalent percentage., This is pretty normal whenever a cassette is copied or digitised., In this instance it would have happened when the master cassette was transferred to DAT., tracks 1-10 : adjusted by -0.2 Semitones / 101.16%, tracks 11-18 : adjusted by -0.4 Semitones / 102.34%, 2. patches from a second inferior source LB-9893 (Sony D5) to fill 2 gaps and replace 1 brief section., This source was also pitch and speed corrected and EQ mixed before being used in the 3 spots noted below-, * 10 seconds at the end of Baby Let Me Follow You Down fixing what was lost during a tape flip at the 45 minute mark of the show., * 13 seconds at the start of Mr. Tambourine Man to replace a section where a very loud audience member yells some philosophy right next to the taper (the sound of the acoustic guitars in this section is considerably worse on the LB-9893 source but i thought this was still preferable to the man yelling.), * 10 seconds at the very start of Like A Rolling Stone fixing what was lost during a tape flip., 3. EQ mixing and volume increase to better balance the sound, 4. track marks adjusted to the start of each song, 5. hard limiting on clapping between tracks to lessen the volume of individual clappers, ============
