LB-4190, (64min+63min), P1 version; [said to be first generation cassettes] > DAT > CD > EAC > WAV > Soundforge 6.0 > CD Wave > FLAC, I did not harm the sound of the recording in any way other than pitch correcting., The beginning of the introductory Hard Rain is cut, tape flips (%) cut a few seconds of the, beginning of To Ramona and some of the band introduction preceding It's Alright Ma., There is noise at the beginning of the recording (and at some later spots) due to the taper wrestling with his microphone., This is the same recording as LB-0648 (which is the same recording as tape #1 of the "1978 project"), but different to the low generation tape that is tape #2 on that page (<http://www.angelfire.com/folk/jackofharts7/fareast.html>), though none of the described transfer anomalies of those two versions are present on this version !, And a third master of this show has only recently emerged..., Please retain this info file as a marker for this lossless set and if you spread it, please list it in the description to avoid others getting duplicates., further info:, http://www.bjorner.com/DSN03650%201978%20Far%20East%20Tour.htm#DSN03720, (wrong title for d2t01); bittorrent download 08/06; excellent sound [A]; in comparison to LB-648 they are of similar sound quality with this one having more hiss probably because it has the high end and midrange turned up making it brighter but also less warm; hard to say which is better as only found this to be better on 1 out of 3 comparison samples and all were close
