No editing was done and track marks were a little crude. This was traded and circulated widely at the time. This version is a new transfer from the master tape. Hard limiting has been applied to the audience clapping and track marks are now accurate. =============== Some notes about this show Another solid show from Bob & band but i remember thinking walking out that it wasn't anything special. Perhaps that was just my disappointment that nothing really special did happen. There had been rumours that Keith & Ronnie would be special guests as the Stones were in Sydney at the time preparing for their Australian tour that would open at Sydney's Enmore Theatre the following night. Apparently some Stones amps were spotted being loaded into the back of the venue that afternoon but the appearance never happened. The Stones were busy rehearsing all night at another location across town with Angus & Malcom Young of AC/DC who would join them as guests during their show. Billy Burnette looked much more relaxed at this show at least until Cold Irons Bound. When the guitars were really starting to rock out in this song, Billy walked up to Bob who was standing front and centre and kept trying to get him to have a play guitar duel. The crowd would have loved it and most other bands on the planet naturally engage in such rock theatrics at these moments. But not our Bob. At first he just ignored Billy, then he started motioning with his head for Billy to go away, then he just gave him death stares that poor Billy couldn't misunderstand. If looks could kill the roadies would have been measuring Billy's coffin there and then. As i said in my previous torrent, Billy only lasted 11 shows with the band. ================
