LB-6170, (72min+72min), (ALD Recording), Title: "Atlanta 2002 Remix - Some Of Those Bootleggers Make Pretty Good Stuff", Label: HOJO, Production notes, This is HOJO ALD/Audience mix done by Jambo with a small amount of assitance from hodgo5, it's a gift to the guys on, Hunger city for all the wonderful uploads in answer to our requests., This a mix of two sources, the soundboard/ALD recording, which first circulated on cd-r in late 2002 and was used on, boots such as, All Ages Catch Dylan, and an audience tape of the same show. Although the sound quality on the SBD, source was excellent it suffered from having practically no audience sound at all, making the performance sound very, sterile. Hopefully this mix adds a bit more life to the show., The mix was done in Cubase, with a little more top end added to both sources and the remix then run through a limiter, to boost levels. Otherwise both sources were left pretty much as they were apart from a slight edit before, All Along The Watchtower, to cut out over loud audience talking. Unfortunately there were a few clicks on the, soundboard source used, again most noticeably at the start of, All Along The Watchtower," and these had to be left in.; bittorrent download 06/08; files converted from ape > wav > flac; in 4-way comparison aud LB-320 is warmest sound but more echoey and not as upfront as others, ALD LB-697 is not as harsh or compressed as bootleg "All Ages Catch Dylan" LB-1330 and this which are similar harshness with this most compressed; this has the flaws of ALD LB-697; (did not listen to all of this)
