Source: my tape. I didn't like the sound of LB-2229 TCCC Fort Worth TX (I'm Not Ready To Be Put Out To Pasture Yet).
In that recording 'the bass was over-recorded, but has been reduced to make it sound better' and IMHO it now sounds like someone hitting a wet towel. In this alternate recording the bass is as it should be.
