ENJOY!!! Charlespoet For me the resplendent and seemingly infinite number of field recordings of this song and dance man is like when you were sixteen and got some new vinyl from the record shop (ya I'm 36 so in my case the vinyl was used, but still what a feeling) and couldn't wait to get home to spin your new treasures. The SACD's are beyond unbelievable but nothing comes even close to Bob on vinyl - Time Out Of Mind when heard as I believe it was intended on vinyl is a different record - I believe this is because it has room to actually breathe while CD's well they are too small - too shiny to really serve their actual purpose which is to turn us on - our minds and yes our Soul-Spirits!!! I began the Mad Dog remasters for just this reason and purpose to try and recapture the bygone days of when getting a new Bob record was second to none in the excitement category. Excitement is probably too tame a word but it will have to do. I am not saying I wanted the remasters to crackle or hiss or anything like that - no in fact it is about the sound kissing your mouth but vinyl as opposed to CDs and even cassettes (8-Tracks were another entity entirely) leaves bruises on your psyche while these other mediums hardly even come close to such profound and devastatingly sublime life altering effects. When I put on this Milan to realign myself with it and make sure it still passed with flying colors I thought about what my original intentions had been when beginning this pilgrimage to the oblivion of scorched rock and roll majesty - ya I'm there now and it's alright, Ma, I can make it. -- Charles Cicirella #440-655-5078 =================== =================== =================== === flac.txt =================== =================== =================== Track 1.flac:aedd2442a467f7ab1ff3f2fa337de83f Track 2.flac:4866c038a0b50f3ec637a8222013a22b Track 3.flac:2ef963d583f201e145e7a0658c95dd0d Track 4.flac:9e76fe01a13c02c3bea6e58bd558fec4 Track 5.flac:0c76d6969fe0918620c3115a7b41e3c4 Track 6.flac:5bdb51d6606856560e09212a7e2b0c88 Track 7.flac:b9032b135e5e30baf3835747f0ce0ba7 Track 8.flac:a87537c29992984195c9fe598c6e67ee Track 9.flac:44693a23134d617a85b3f2c4238b7095 Track 10.flac:43a7e15bf8e8e37f50ff1806945238f0 Track 11.flac:8e077b714834af771741172958aac451 =================== =================== =================== === flac.txt =================== =================== =================== Track 1.flac:c5e4dc81116a8ad93c3609299f944680 Track 2.flac:e49e52bc34c7966b9ded50bb4dcd67da Track 3.flac:f99711ae5575220f96370bc98bc0dea1 Track 4.flac:0c0aa1d1aa87bb3b42013443cd2bf3c9 Track 5.flac:ca91cd008f1cc5981195ad24a85c4d11 Track 6.flac:98c25b20779645c6c1bc18070299acbc Track 7.flac:ea2485d0347e894d4e11eebd833c5ae6 =================== =================== ===================
