Bob Dylan, 10/23/90, Charleston, WV (Municipal Auditorium);, 2CDR LB-12360, (44min+46min), version "f", From an old cassette (received in trade, 1992 -- 1st generation). This is a different recording from the OTHER Charleston tape I just posted. (F/P: this one has some major foreground whooping at the end of track 03 - beginning of track 04 which is absent from the other tape. The other tape has a brief foreground giggle in track 09 @ 2:48, right after the line "her age was sixteen," which is absent from this recording.) I was not planning on distributing this tape, because I still believe that the other one has a clearer vocal and is, hence, "better." But it has been brought to my attention that this recording may have "a more natural sound," and far be it from me to arbitrate these matters (beyond a certain point, anyway...), so I am oversharing, possibly. Feel free to ignore it, but here it is. My Charleston ALT, in your face!, TRANSFER DATE: 2016-09-22, WHAT I DID: Cassette > WAV > Sound Forge (split into tracks) > FLAC > MP3tag (tagging), All thanks to the original taper, who sent me the cassette. --------------------------------------------------- bittorrent download 09/16; cdr split not specified; has tv band on d1; in 3-way comparison these are different recordings based on different crowd at end of d1t3; LB-6343 is more muffled than the others; LB-12359 has the fullest most upfront sound; this has a warmer sound than that; (did not listen to all of this) --------------------------------------------------- 01 Ol' Macdonald (instrumental), 02 Absolutely Sweet Marie, 03 You're A Big Girl Now, 04 All Along the Watchtower, 05 Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again, 06 Man in the Long Black Coat, 07 Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35, 08 It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding), 09 Wagoners Lad, 10 Don't Think Twice, It's All Right, 11 Gates of Eden, 12 Everything Is Broken, 13 My Back Pages, 14 T.V.
