Bob Dylan, 1/12/90, Toads Place, New Haven Ct, 4CDR

LB-12525, (60min+44min+74min+87min), crown dolphinsmile, digital version. dat clone from master., Toads Place was taped by a person who decided to hold on to it in order 'to shake some stuff, loose'. Needless to say this didnt sit well with a huge, host of Dylan fans, collectors,scholars and general music lovers etc, who fully expected to be able to listen to this, celebrated event asap. I was among that despondent lot., However, instead of moping, I made a few calls, did an investigation, and located a gentleman, up North who had also taped, he had taped on dat. I was able to get a copy on, cassette then, and a clone from him a few years later, when I fully dat formed., Incredibly, this gentleman had taped Dylan in Hartford back in 78 and 80, probably the, best tapes of either tour available. I have those too., A bit noisy at first, but after the first couple of songs taper moves and gets even, better. I think this version is as good as the other one-but maybe Im not being objective, it is what it is., No EQ, no 'remastering', virgin all the way., Dat recorded with Crown mic>clone>microtrack>goldwave for split>TLH

bittorrent download 02/17; cdr split not specified; in spectral view this seems like cassette for d1t1 to d1t4 and d5 except for d5t2 and the rest is dat like; on those cassette like tracks the crowd noise and clapping wavs match up to LB-8421 and LB-8740  and not to LTE LB-2614; on the dat like tracks such as d1t5, d5t2, d4t11 the crowd does not match to any of those and is a different recording; in comparison on d1t2  this has a fuller less muffled sound than LB-8421 but LB-8740 has a harsher more upfront fuller sound than this; on this ones dat like tracks, in comparison on d1t9 this has a fuller warmer clearer better sound than those and rates A-; overall this has very good to excellent sound [B+];
