LB-16580, fp 185 mt vol 02 merges, Mick TAYLOR, playing guitar in Bob Dylan's tour band, 6th June 1984, (ROTTERDAM), 6th June 1984: Rotterdam, Netherlands, Sportpaleis Ahoy, Line-up: MT (gtr)/Bob Dylan (voc, gtr, harm)/Ian McLagan (keyb)/Greg Sutton (bass, voc on I've Got To Use My Imagination)/Colin Allen (dr) plus special guest Carlos Santana (gtr)., This project was conceived after the discovery of a soundboard recording of this show. Previously, we only had an audience recording of average quality. Initially, I reworked the soundboard recording by de-clicking it and improving the phase and azimuth. I then created a mix with the audience recording to obtain a more spacious sound that better captures the live atmosphere (especially for the last tracks in which the audience participates)., Next, nzb provided us with two videos from his collection. These videos are both incomplete but partially complement each other. We therefore decided to redo the soundtrack, and the result will be released simultaneously by BlueTurns2Grey., For my part, there will be three volumes:, - Volume 01 (FP 184) containing the reworked soundboard version, - Volume 02 (FP 185) containing the merged soundboard and audience version, - Volume 03 (FP 186) containing the soundtrack of the final video, which blends the soundboard with the original video versions., Thanks to everyone who recorded these shows and shared their recordings, as well as to my usual accomplices nzb and BT2G, without whom this project wouldn't exist., Reviews of live Mick Taylor shows are being posted at GimmeMT.com, Volume 02:, (FP 185), (Merges between the soundboard and the audience versions),
