a note on the known circulating 29 June 1981 sources ... - there are 4 LB entries listed at lossless Bob for this show - LB-18, LB-347 and LB-8292 are derived from the same 'net taper B' recording - LB-8292 is the best quality and longest version of these and has documented lineage from the master recording. It is a great sounding tape that I have been able to further improve due to mixing and significant clean up of loud clapping - from the consistent and very small pitch and speed variation on LB-8292, it is clear this tape is very close to the master - a version of this recording was issued as the well-known CD bootleg 'A Bird's Nest In Your Hair' (LB-18). However, the tape used as the source for that bootleg was at least 1 generation higher than LB-8292 (I can tell due to the higher and varying pitch/speed variations) - 'A Bird's Nest In Your Hair' also clips a few minutes total of audience applause from the very start, encore break and end of show - LB-6250 is a different 9-song partial recording of poor quality. It's only purpose in this project was to show the length of time between tracks 10 and 11.
