"DocBox #3" - A series of concerts taped from FM and bootlegs during the 70s and 80s that are sitting in Doc's basement in a tape-carrier. First seed date: 11 June 2005, "Extra Dylan" bootleg, Haven't seen this circulate much in the digital age--this is a new seed from a relatively unknown first-gen recording. An excellent stereo audience tape, made during the "Infidels" tour. Sounds like taper was near a speaker stack, with clear guitars, bass, drums, vocals, but dynamic range a bit limited. The original bootleg also included two tracks from the next night's concert in Copenhagen, included the only known performance by Dylan of Willie Nelson's "Why Do I Have To Choose?" bittorrent download 06/05; further clarification is this is from a cassette made from the vinyl bootleg "extra Dylan"; has some clipping making it harsher at time on t9; this is a different recording than the cb recording as it lacks the crowd yell at d1t9 0:58 on the cb version; crowd noise at end of d1t12 matches up with fendert version; this matches clapping wavs at end of d1t2 to fendert version but could not match up some other tracks so dont know if one is a compilation; this one has higher levels than that one and had bob talk editted out after d1t8; the fendert version seemed to have a little fuller sound (note track listing had t8 and t9 switched) (did not listen to all of this one)
