Luisbp51; Audience recording from a data DVD I traded in 2005. Does not match either LB-4005 or references at LB-5364, but as I haven't got this last version I couldn't tell it's not derived from the same master. Quite different than LB-4005, though. Has full spectrum and sounds far better in comparison. The flacs came to me as I'm seeding them now (except I decoded them and reencoded back to flac), but as several flaws were spotted I repaired the most annoying faults adding the fixed tracks (aligned on sector boundaries) to separate folders I will upload next. Can't remember who my trader was but just included log files of an eac extraction from Cd-R's, no other info was provided. Thanks go to him, anyway, whoever he was... and to the taper, obviously!, The main reason I decided to share the reencoded flacs instead of the originals is only because they had different md5's while flacfingerprints did match (maybe 'cause they were previously encoded at a different level or I don't know why) so, if I was going to fix them wavs, not reworked tracks wouldn't make the same fileset and everybody would have to d/l again the whole set, not just the fixed and aligned tracks., Lineage: Cd-R's (unknown gen rec.) > eac (secure mode) > flac (data DVD) > wav (flac frontend 1.1.3) > wav (adobe audition 1.0 - checking tracks / spectral analysis) > flac (flac frontend 1.1.3 - align on SB option - level 8- verify on) > torrent (azureus V4.0.0.4 1 az2), Flaws detected, already gone or dimed on the fixed version:, d1t01 @ [1:21.540][1:36.331] spikes, d1t01 @ [1:28.810-1:39.709] several glitches & digipops clipping at the highest volume, d1t01 @ [2:01.640][2:59.256] pops, d1t02 @ [0:03.536] analog noise, d1t02 @ [0:13.665-0:40.256] scratches, d1t04 @ [3:26.xxx] statics, d1t05 @ [0:40.618] scratches, d1t05 @ [0:43.723-0:44.497] clicks and pops, d1t06 low level and some minor pops and clicks, d1t07 @ [0:03.300][0:27.665] and other points, scratches, clicks and pops, d2t05 @ [1:07.653] scratches, Some other problems still remain that could be heard here and there, minor pops or analog noise as a mic bump (maybe wind at times), but the most relevant would be that one described on text file at LB-5364 concerning some statics and a mix deck dropout at the beginning of d1t03, right after Bob's singing "they paint their passports brown". Also lots of chatting throughout., Enjoy!, Luisbp51 (Hungercity December 2008)
