version "b"; SBEs fixed w/ trader's Little Helper 2005-12-15 (r9453)., Received in a trade as a remaster. At the bottom the comments of the remastering work., Recording and taper are unknown., Info remaster:, When I first received these discs and played them, I had to go, outside to see if a thunderstorm was blowing in. No, it was a, clear night. The "thunder" I was hearing was distortion on, disc 1 (t8 Tangled Up In Blue)., One thing led to another. As I cleaned up the skips on the, discs, I noticed that most of the wavs were clipped across the, bottom but not the top. Hmmm... yup sure enough, a D.C. Offset, problem. So I ran the files through EAC to correct this. Sure, enough some of the "thunder" vanished, and I began to have a, bit of hope about salvaging something listenable from the set., Now an offset DC voltage to the mics will often produce a bass, heavy recording and this is what we had. So I felt free to, remove bass and play with the equalizer as needed. The result, is on the discs - a salvage job - and quite listenable at least, to my ears., I'll Be Your Baby Tonight and Tangled Up In Blue don't have as, full a sound as the others, though each is ok by itself., Friend Of The Devil picked up some very slight emphasis on, the harp solo., For most of disc 2 the problems were not so severe and the, tracks received only the slightest tinkering if any. They will, peg yer meters., Throughout, I have made no attempt to remove *all* of the problems, with the audio at this show. It doesen't seem likely that most, were the result of a DC offset. From time to time it is probable, that a mic or pickup was acting up, and traces of the "thunder", occasionally intrude., This is only the second time i've attempted to rework a whole show., Comments are welcome.

bittorrent download 01/10; same recording as LB-7608 based on same clapping wavs at end of d1t3; the levels on this are sometimes higher and sometimes lower; the spectral view is sometimes the same and other times different such as on d1t2 as indicated in comments where this has less above 16k than that one; this has more digital flaws; this has noticably less full sound on d1t2 and similar sound on d1t7; (did not listen to all of this)
drop d1t4 0:00; drop/cut between cdrs; drop/static d2t5 2:22, plus some hard to hear small drops
