version "j";, BBC Broadcasts June 1st 1965 (New Uncirculated Tape - Incomplete) Excellent Quality, Bob Dylan, BBC Studios, London England, June 1st 1965, This is the best recording I have heard of this show, All Thanks For This Recording Go To "mrshenry", All Details of Linage are below as sent to me., All I have done is seperate the FLAC files into tracks with Soundforge PRO 10b, taped with a Mic in front of the TV set onto a Grundig TK20 at three and three-quarters (half track)., Programme Two is at a slightly lower audio level than Programme One, but the tape has not been processed, in any way by the cool edit that digitised the recording., I did copy the tape on to an Mini-Disc at one point, but I am fairly sure that the files I am passing to you, today were made direct from the spool., I've always found the sound of this tape more suited to my ear than any of the other recordings I've heard, but maybe that's because I've played the tape a million times., Now the bad news:, Back in the late sixties I never thought of history, posterity or that radio and tv was anything but ephemeral., In my time I have made a few errors of judgment and in retrospect allowing a razor happy youth to take an editing, blade to this tape to remove "hattie carroll" and "gates of eden" was not a one of my better moves. However, for what it's worth you can hear the tape at Megaload., http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0A6YV9VY, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QB6QHY2B, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GJAOGRKP, There is no splicing tape on the tape I have kept over the years and I suspect this is evidence of the crime having, been compounded. Maybe the splices kept breaking so perhaps the tape was copied at three and three quarters on to, a new tape. I have no idea what happened to the original; but if you see a five inch reel in a blue philips box ...., Do with these files as you will., If you do decide to pass it on, then do by all by all means call me the uneducated fool with no appreciation of, history, but if you could give some anonimity, that would be nice., hollis brown, mr tambourine man, if you gotta go, love minus zero, one too mornings, spanish leather, she belongs to me, baby blue, it's alright ma

bittorrent download 09/10; nothing above 16k and except lego parapets; in comparison to others on t1, this is clear and narrow with not much hiss; tape 5 LB-3895 has a little fuller sound with more hiss; tape4 LB-3241 has fuller sound with more hiss; LB-0853 has a rumble in it and is narrow; LB-2546 is fuller but harsher; reel source LB-3236 sounds suppressed; tape 3 LB-3227 has fullest warmest best sound except it has the distortion in the vocals on the first show; very good to excellent sound [B+]
