lossy jtt, (LOSSY), Good Mono Recording, Captured from Soundcloud, uploaded by YHshWH, SOURCE: Soundcloud > Soundforge PRO 10c > FLAC Level 6, JTT November 2012

bittorrent download 11/12; nothing above 16k except lego parapets, noise and a spectral band near 19k; close to mono except for the noise; has brickwalling distortion; (did not listen to all of this)

(a bittorrent from 11/12 is a same recording based on same clapping wavs at end of d1t1 and has lower levels, different compression, different spectral view as it is not lossy, does not have the spectral band, and is very close to mono as it does not have the noise; it also has the bad brickwalling distortion; described as "Audience mono recording. Downloaded as a single wav file from YHshWH Soundcloud account. Screenshots of spectral view and freq. analysis attached., Taper: YHshWH, Lineage: Unknown Equipment > wav (44.1k/16bit, mono) Soundcloud > wav (44.1k/16bit, stereo = 2 channels mono) Wavepad Sound Editor (NHC Software)/tracksplit > flac [TLH 2.7.0 (built 172) - align on SB (fix) - level 8], Thanks to YHshWH for taping and sharing., Luisbp51 (Hungercity November 9, 2012)" with filenames like "d1t01.flac"; xref-01153)

(Luisbp51 adds comment on xref-01153 : "I don't know if my post of the St.Paul recording by YHshWH (LB-10471-xref-01153) is more distorted or sounds worse than LoSSY version by JTT, but what is certain is that the original recording as uploaded on Soundcloud, which I did split and convert to FLAC for upload at HC, is completely LOSSLESS. So I don't think it should be added to the archives as an xref to a LOSSY copy of it (even if such a copy has slightly better sound) or it should be mentioned at least that the correspondent xref. is the very LOSSLESS master of the same recording, so people reading the reviews may know the actual difference between both versions, and make their own choice.")

(Serge posted more lineage on xref-01153 : "taper: YHshWH, location: 6th row right in front and below the speakers / rail and center (Blowin' in the Wind), lineage:, TASCAM iM2 microphone >, Apple iPhone 4s dock connector >, Apple iPhone 4s >, TASCAM PCM Recorder Application for iPhone >, 121107_0001.wav (44.1k/16bit, 2 channels mono) >, TASCAM PCM Recorder Application for iPhone (sharing File on Soundcloud) >, Soundcloud >, WAV (44.1k/16bit 1 channel mono) >, soundcloud.com 2012-11-08 by YHshWH")
