flyingm, Broadcast, December 13, 1975, Audio Only, source:, KCET Los Angeles > Cable > Quazar TV (RCA audio output jacks) > Teac 4070G @ 3 3/4 ips, Transfer to DAT (1996), Revox B-77 > Phase Linear 1000 auto-correlator > Sony DTC-690, Transfer to hard drive (2011):, Sony DTC-690 > Audigy 4 Pro (via toslink) > Audacity (fades, clean up and conversion to 16-44.1) >, CD Wav > Traders Little Helper (Flac level 8), Come along on a trip with Mr Peabody, Sherman and I in the "Way Back Machine", back back back to December 1975...., Bob Dylan was going to be on TV., This was in the day before home video recorders were common., This was also at a time when the audio portion of broadcast television was very Low-Fi., My television was a Motorola Quasar with RCA output jacks and exceptional audio quality (for a TV)., The recorder was my new TEAC 4070G reel to reel., The Phase Linear auto-correlator was used in the transfer to DAT., In post-production a 3 dB boost at 300 Hz was done to give this a fuller sound., This Bob Dylan performance is no longer hard to find but the true gem of this show has turned out to be those "old guys"., What a band and I just love the sound of Benny Goodman on his clarinet., Some of the song titles are unknown to me (any help is appreciated)., This has been one of my favorite recordings over the years., Hope you can enjoy it as much as I have., For historical reference only and not intended for resale or any commercial use., -M- April 2011, FLYING M PRODUCTIONS

bittorrent download 08/13; nothing above 16k but does not have lego parapets; this has a narrower warmer sound with some noticable distortion and more hiss when compared to LB-3691, LB-4347, and LB-9911; still liked LB-4347 best; (did not listen to all of this)
