lowgen; This is a fresh transfer from an old hissy tape. Various transfers have been bootlegged many times, and this is one more. I hope someone likes it., Original recording details unknown. A more precise date is often cited, but I believe it's based on flimsy evidence or no evidence at all. bittorrent download 10/07; close to true mono; has a little hiss; in comparison this has more hiss but greater fidelity with fuller less muffled sound than bootleg Documents of Bob Dylan Vol3 which does not have anything above 21k; this show as filler on 7/29/61 LB-2847 was similar to that Documents bootleg but with higher levels and nothing above 21k; For sale or on the shelf LB-1172 d5d2 also had less hiss but less fidelity and nothing above 16k; Hollow Horn Reference Recording Vol 2 LB-4916 seems like it is from the Documents bootleg in wav and spectral view; Early Recordings Vol 2 LB-1688 had everything above 6k removed so it had least hiss but was very flat and narrow sounding; very good to excellent sound [B+]
